Day1
You will be met by our Staff from NILE IVY AFRICAN SAFARIS who will transfer you to Kampala. Dinner and overnight at Hotel Africana/Grand Imperial Hotel/Sheraton Hotel Kampala.
Day2
After an early breakfast, drive through Kampala Northwards through the famous Luwero Triangle. Lunch at Masindi Hotel. After lunch drive to the park through Budongo forest. A visit to the top of the mighty Murchison falls is extra ordinary. A point where the water escapes through a narrow gorge forming splendid thunder and roar! Relax and take photographs at the spot. Ferry Crossing to Paraa Safari lodge which offers comfortable accommodation and typical Ugandan hospitality. Dinner and overnight at Paraa safari lodge.
Day 3
After breakfast, transverse in the northern part for a game drive to view and take photographs of Uganda kobs, Buffalo, Hippos, elephants, Lions, Leopards , water bucks Giraffes and a variety of bird species. After lunch, proceed for a two-hour cruise to the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls from where appalling water escapes from the narrow gorge forming a great thunder. An opportunity to see the crocodiles and the amazing hippos along the riverbanks. Return to the lodge for dinner and over night.
Day 4
After an early coffee or tea, greet the early morning rising sun before ferry crossing. Ensure that you carry along your packed breakfast and lunch drive via the Albertine Escarpment of the western Rift valley on the Masindi-Hoima-Fortportal road. As you enter Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoy the beautiful scenery and a game drive on the way to Mweya Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5
After a cup of coffee or tea, set off for a game drive along Kasenyi track and Queens mile in the park and expect to see Elephants, buffalo, Warthogs, lions and many more animals and birds. Get back to the lodge for breakfast. After lunch, a launch trip on Kazinga channel for amazing bird life and a variety of wild animals. Evening drive to the creator region and Baboon Cliff is lovely and splendid. Dinner & over night at Mweya Safari Lodge.
Day 6
After a cup of coffee, with a packed breakfast and Lunch, drive to Kyambura gorge for a forest walk to look for the habituated chimpanzees and other primate’s .The rangers will provide you a walking stick. After primate walk, drive to Bwindi through Maramagambo and Ishasha sector enjoy game viewing on the way. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Homestead or Gorilla Forest Camp.
Day 7
After an early break fast and briefing from the guides, set off for the gorilla tracking inside the Forest. You need to carry drinking water, rain jacket and jungle boots while the rangers will provide you with a walking stick. Gorilla tracking is one of the unique activities you will enjoy while photographing and watching the gorillas. After tracking, come back to the Homestead for lunch before making a scenic journey to Kabale through the beautiful terrain of the rolling hills with terraced landscape. An area referred as the "Switzerland of Africa”. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi Safari Resort, Bushara island camp or Bunyonyi overland camp.
